Sarah - Office Manager/Lead Administrator
Room for Growth Counselling and Healthcare Services is pleased to have Sarah as part of our team in the role of Lead Administrator. Sarah splits her professional time between her work as a government analyst and her role with Room for Growth, bringing more than a decade of experience in healthcare leadership, administration, and service delivery.
Since joining RFG, Sarah has been a wonderful addition to our team. Highly skilled, thoughtful, and exceptionally compassionate, she brings both professionalism and a drive to support others in all that she does. We are incredibly pleased to have her expertise and leadership whenever we are fortunate enough to have her with us.
A devoted mother and spouse of a military veteran, Sarah values service, inclusion, dignity, and respect for people from all walks of life. Her warmth, lived experience, and genuine desire to help others align beautifully with the values of Room for Growth.

Keziah - Nurse Practitioner
Room for Growth is thrilled to welcome Keziah Emekeme to its team beginning in mid-January!
Keziah is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in mental health, addictions, and community-based care. She completed her Nurse Practitioner training at the University of Toronto after several years of practice as a Registered Nurse in diverse environments, including community health, mental health, transitional care, and acute care.
Keziah has worked in interdisciplinary settings supporting individuals with complex mental health and substance-use concerns, with a strong focus on access, continuity, and equity in care. Her clinical interests include integrated primary and mental health care, trauma-informed practice, women’s mental health, and advancing culturally safe, collaborative models that promote long-term wellness in the community.
As a Nurse Practitioner at Room for Growth Counselling Services, Keziah will provide comprehensive mental-health-focused primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing follow-up for individuals with mental health and substance-use concerns.
She will work collaboratively alongside psychotherapy services to support trauma-informed and patient-centred care, with an emphasis on continuity and access within the community.
Although primarily based out of Toronto, Keziah has privileges at the Pembroke Regional Hospital (PRH) and will be able to order further assessment and make referrals as needed for her clients/patients.
Keziah is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and will increase accessibility for mental health in this region. RFG is thrilled to have her on board!
Mathieu - Bilingual Intake Coordinator
Mathieu is our Bilingual Intake Coordinator and the first point of contact for assessment services at Room for Growth. He brings extensive experience in healthcare, engineering, facility operations and management, along with exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
Known for his warmth, reliability, and sense of humour, Mathieu is deeply committed to the people he supports - and equally unwavering in his commitment to the Montreal Canadiens, still holding out hope that the Habs will one-day bring home another Cup.
We greatly value the dedication Mathieu brings to everything he does and are very grateful to have him as part of the RFG team.
