Sheila Bowes
Hi,

My name is Sheila, and I began Room for Growth Counselling Services in 2022 as a non-judgmental space where people from all backgrounds and walks of life are supported in their growth and wellbeing. What began as a one-room practice has since expanded and become part of the city centre in Pembroke, Ontario.
Our team includes several dedicated professionals who are committed to fostering an empowering, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all. (To learn more about Sheila, please visit the “My Approach” section.)

Sarah del Valle - Office Manager/Lead Administrator
Room for Growth Counseling and Healthcare Services is pleased to welcome Sarah del Valle as our new Lead Administrator. With over a decade of healthcare leadership experience, Sarah brings both expertise and a deep appreciation for the diverse needs of the communities we serve. Her commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is evident in her work, along with a genuine passion for helping others thrive.
Sarah’s journey reflects resilience, integrity, and growth. She embodies the belief that our past does not define us, but rather shapes who we become—highlighting the power of second chances and a continued commitment to service and compassion.
A devoted mother and proud spouse of a military veteran, Sarah is guided by her Christian faith to make a meaningful impact. Grounded in love and humility, she holds deep respect for individuals of all faiths—and those of no faith—embracing dignity and understanding as universal values.
Through her own experiences with mental health, Sarah has developed a strong empathy for the challenges many face and is dedicated to ensuring support remains accessible, especially for those who need it most.
Sarah joins Room for Growth with a vision to expand our reach and strengthen our impact, guided by the belief that everything begins with love and that inclusion goes far beyond what is visible.
We are delighted to welcome Sarah’s leadership and vision to our team.
She begins each day with a cup of tea and a favourite quote from The Wizard of Oz:
“Because I love you all.” — Dorothy
Please join us in welcoming Sarah to the Room for Growth community. We look forward to growing and thriving together
